Etsy find | Birthday present idea

Today I have a bit of a different post for you guy’s. It was one of Lucy and I’s friends eighteenth birthday this week so we wanted to get her something special for the occasion. We knew we wanted some sort of jewellery rather than chocolate or something as it’s more special and sentimental.

After deliberating over a few different options we decided on a bracelet as our friend isn’t much of a necklace wearer and decided we wanted something with either her birthstone on or ‘18’ since that’s how *young* she was turning.

We decided to look on Etsy as getting a bracelet from Pandora or the like didn’t feel as special since everyone else can have the same thing. I came across a shop based in Camarillo, California owned by Jessie McCann. She makes beautiful bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc all personalised to your taste and want.

Lucy and I chose this bracelet. We personalised it with the number 18 and our friends birthstone - Sapphire. The bracelet itself is sterling silver with Swarovski crystal and a mother of pearl for decoration. You can choose the font and can add a name/word rather than a number if you prefer. The bracelet all together with shipping came to $34 which is around the £24 mark, which in my opinion is really good considering the bracelet is sterling silver and due to it being shipped from California I expected the shipping costs to be more than $8.

It took around 10 days to arrive in the post which again wasn’t bad considering it had to come across the Atlantic. Jessie shipped our order the day after it was placed and kept in contact through Esty message which was really nice also.

I will definitely be purchasing other products from Jessie’s store as they are very personalised and high quality and since they are all handmade every item is different.
