Pre-makeup skincare | The Body Shop, Botanics & Garnier

21:46:00

In the past few months I’ve finally conquered which products work best for my skin to create a perfect base for my makeup. These products help to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day and prevent it from feeling dry and looking dull. It refreshes me in the morning and helps my makeup blend and set without looking patchy.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | To cleanse my skin. This is great for waking up the skin and making your face feel clean before you apply your makeup.

Botanics All Bright Eye Roll On | Helps to cool and de-puff my eyes. This also helps to wake me up especially on those early mornings. During the hay fever season this also helps when my eyes are feeling itchy and sore during the day.

Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream | This again is very cooling and light on the skin but packs in the hydration. This is also a great moisturiser for sensitive skin as it contains aloe, I had an allergic reaction to another moisturiser a few weeks ago and this really helped my skin to settle down and recover.

Botanics Hydrating Eye Cream | This locks in the moisture around my eyes also helping to de-puff and hopefully keeping away fine lines when I'm older.

Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Face Mist | I was a bit unsure about the point of the face mists trend at first but now I’m definitely a fan. This mist is ultra refreshing on the skin and really adds hydration. It helps to lock in all the goodness from the previous steps of my routine and leaves me feeling awake and ready.

Whats your pre-makeup skincare lineup?
